Just saw this image in the Talisman rulebook the other day, so I figured I could release it. This is one of a few creatures I did for the Talisman: Highland expansion for Fantasy Flight Games (check it out here ). They pretty much gave me free rein on the design, which ended up being a ton of fun. Hopefully I'll be able to post the other monsters soon. Until then, enjoy-

The Last Unicorn
I went ahead and finished up this piece for the Robot Entertainment art blog located here. The theme this time around was 'Fantasy' which was right up my alley. I felt like just having a tiny figure in the image was too cliche or something...so I ended up with a symbol of purity and good about to get eaten. Enjoy-

I'm alongside some other great artists such as Aaron Miller, Anna Christenson, Dominick Saponaro, Eric Braddock, Garrett Hanna, Lu Vazquez, McLean Kendree, Sabin Boykinov, Tiziano Baracchi, Tobias Kwan, Tyler Jacobson, and William O'Connor. Go buy yourself one, they're going quick!

He chills in deep space.

It's that time of year when all the games I've worked on start to get released! Here's a character portrait of Boba Fett I did when I first got to n-Space, done for Stars Wars Battlefront: Elite Squadron. This was one of those assignments that you never think you'll get to do...it's weird when you sit down to work and your assignment is to paint a badass space bounty hunter from your favorite movies.

Dragons and websites
My entry for the Earthquake Dragon challenge at www.artorder.blogspot.com . I've already seen some entries popping up and it looks like there's going to be some stiff competition (Fantasy artists like drawing dragons? Who knew?) Mad props to my buddy McLean for some last minute crits on this guy.In other news, everyone should check out my awesome new website designed by my lovely girlfriend Erin . Lots of new work, clean design, stripes, monsters, the color brown, these are a few of my favorite things. I have also become obsessed with the sharing feature on my google reader...that thing is addictive. Have a great Sunday-

Ye Olde Vampyres

Some b/w work vampyrez for http://www.artorder.blogspot.com/ 's weekly challenge. Haven't done any non-grayscale black and white stuff in a while, kinda tricky to get the hang of again. I've been using some thin horizontal lines to try and get that old printed quality in it. An interesting experiment, but I'm not sure how successful the results are.

Boll Deevil
Done for an art challenge over at ArtOrder . You had to base a creature off of a Boll Weevil, so this fella turned into some lava spewing cave bug. Definitely a fun little project

DiTerlizzi Dragons
So I saw this the other day, and decided to whip up a dragon- didn't have much time but it was kinda fun, got to tap into my roots of tree bark skin and redundant detail. I'll finish it...sometime...

Sneaky Russians
Well I was originally going to do something for the Hellboy show at Uberbot ( http://www.uberbotonline.com/index.php?act=viewDoc&docId=4 ) but time sorta slipped away from me (I'm lazy), so instead my entry turned out to be another lunch hour sketch! This is the Hellboy comic version of Rasputin. He's a pretty cool guy.

I've also come to the realization that my monitor is pretty effed up in terms of gamma and contrast, dunno if anyone could recommend a good one? Thanks-

Reactors- ON!
Wowsers it's been a lil' while since I've given an update. I got hired in May at n-Space in Orlando, so I've been doing some concept work there on a couple DS games- it's a lot of fun. I get to draw things that I pretty much draw for fun. It's a trip seeing someone model your drawings, and actually seeing it in-game.
Anyways, these are mostly some fun quickie sketches I've been working on when I get home, I'm trying to give myself some more personal projects to work on. (Continuing my thesis, I guess). I'm planning on taking these (very slowly and lazily) to finishes (eventually).

Wall of Thesis
Well, here it finally is, my senior thesis completed! The Senior Illustration Show last Friday was awesome, I had a lot of fun talking to everyone and getting to see all of my classmate's work. Pretty kickass stuff all around.
A lot of these I've already posted on here, in a finished state or not, but a lot of them I've tried to hold back on posting. I still have a couple I need to resize and put up here, photoshop is being very fickle at the moment...

(Trying to think of a cool name for this) Forest
Environment I (sorta almost) finished today, I think this is my favorite color palette. It's in the same area as the Forest God piece. My idea for this place is a swampy, gooey unnatural mossy creek. For some reason I think moss and lichen are pretty damn cool, so there's gonna be more of that going on in this.
